Well, the thought occurred to me to say that a whole lot of folks through the centuries would have had to come up with something else to rationalize and justify violations of the Golden Rule, but I guess I'll go with never coming to know real love and love's true limit as taught by an obscure Galilean carpenter that embraced the revolutionary promise to the ordinary man, woman and child that the "Meek shall inherit". Given the historical period, there has, perhaps never been a more radical position taken by a person.
