Creationism 1; Evolution 0

So Nick comes home with the daily "What I Did at School Report" informing us that the teacher asked all the students to make a picture of something that they consider to be "God's Creation". Nick was quite proud of the snake that he drew. I asked him if it was a python for two reasons: 1) I know he likes pythons & 2) pythons and boas are the last snake to still bear the vestigial remains of legs that evolution has deemed useless. Jokingly, I asked Nick if God's python creation was when it had legs or after. His reply, (and I am not making this up!), was a question: "In Adam & Eve, didn't God tell the snake that he will always be on the ground?" Ahhhh... The passage to which our biblical scholar eludes reads as follows:
Gen. 3:14: And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.
Son-of-a .... Creationism: 1; Evolution 0
