And to help celebrate Halloween, Nick was inspired to write Mommy's epitaph:

Here lies the corpse of Diane K.
She was a good cooker.
She made good cold drinks.
She made good roast chicken.
She loved her children most of all.

Spooky, yet touching.

"No thanks. I am TOO busy!"

Answer to: "Nick, do you want a cupcake?" Wierd.

"Mommy, you should stay in the car; this is man's work!"

Nick, was concerned that Mom was going to leave the car to help Dad jump the other car. He had to make sure Mom stayed in "her place"...

"We should call a tow truck."

Mom and the kids had to come rescue Dad after he left the car lights on. This comment came after watching Dad manipulate the jumper cables for a couple of minutes with no results.

"Corinne, I want you to learn three words: Be Qui-et!"

I brought home a little 6" Stanley Cup replica from last nights Sabres season opener and gave it to Nick. Upon very close inspection, he offered up the above quote which was his way of saying "What's the big deal?" It is kinda junkie...

"This house is too boring. I don't like coming home to such boring house."

Nick returns from a family party at Uncle Dan's and Aunt Claudy's whose house was festively decorated with lite Holloween pumpkins.

Well. Out to the store for a string of skeletal lights ... and a few other wickedly cool decorations like a smoking skull and flying bat.
